This is also a reason why we have guidance counselors. The media plays a big role also, teens watch violent shows on television and play shooting video games. Hopefully, they would realize it and hopefully reconsider what they do before they do it.

By the time they reach 16, they will know not to commit felonies and do the right thing. Kids need to learn this now so later on life they will make the right choices. It is evident that I help the younger kids on making the right choices because we want every child and teen to make the right choices. To recapitulate, youth violence is on every corner of every street in every country! There are many ways to prevent youth violence, but teens keep ignoring the opportunities that can help them prevent doing absurd things later on in life.

Actions to prevent violence can also be implemented in schools. School violence is something that has been happening a lot recently and is a major concern for our teachers, counselors, and school administrators. While most teachers feel like their classroom is their main responsibility, they can also take more time to involve themselves in what goes on outside the classroom.

In between classes, they can stand at their classroom doors, monitoring the halls, keeping their eyes and ears open to any suspicious behavior, and always reporting anything out of the ordinary. If the student needs someone to talk to there should be a guidance or school counselor available for them to vent about any issues they may be having at school or outside of school. School administrators should help students create anti-violence organizations at their schools that offer mentoring and mediation.

Resources such as these can prevent a student from committing a crime or being the victim of a crime. Youth violence is on every corner of every street in every country. No matter how hard we try we may not always be able to prevent someone from doing something wrong. However, we can all do our part in getting educated so that our youth have a fighting chance in helping themselves or someone else from becoming a victim of violence. The biggest way to prevent it is by being aware.
