I've been so busy with my job hunt, I haven't been able to write you! I've gotten responses from many recruiters and most of them mention how great my resume is. Eli Lilly is supposedly very interested in me right now, but I haven't heard from them. I had a rep recommend me for a position with them. Otherwise, I'm interviewing with a biotech company for a great sales position and I'm going through the process with Abbott, Merck and AstraZeneca.
I actually received the call out of the blue from a district manager with AstraZeneca last night. He was looking over my resume because he just had a position open up in his territory and he wanted to talk with me. We connected this afternoon and he invited me to interview with them on Friday! I've had a lot of people ask me about my resume and I belong to many bulletin boards and discussion groups for pharmaceutical sales wanna-be's.
Many people ask for resume advice and tips. I always point them your way! I'm so glad I picked you. I just can't say enough about what a wonderful job you did on both my resume and cover letter.
My husband is definitely going to ask you to do his resume once I get a position. I hope some of these other people take my advice as well, it will make their job search so much easier!! I'll let you know when I land my position! I just wanted to send you a quick update. Everyone was definitely impressed and dazzled by the resume you created for me! Since I started my search, I've seen dozens of other sales resumes and yours left them ALL in the dust! Some of them were even professionally designed and I really can't believe how little they got for their money.
Although I did receive offers from pharma companies, I finally accepted an offer from a medical device company!
I want to thank you again for helping me get my foot in the door with landing interviews and for all of the stress you took off my shoulders by taking my resume on. Thank you for your services and the excellent resume you produced as a result. There is no question in my mind that this distinctive resume provided me with far more opportunities to talk to recruiters and principals than I would have had otherwise. More than once I heard recruiters say "I pick out two resumes from over internet responses and you were one of them.
